1. What is the operating principle of the brake drum?
The brake drum is a part of the drum brake system of the forklift truck. When braking, the piston exerts pressure on the two pairs of half-moon brake shoes to make them close to the inner wall of the drum, thereby generating friction to stop the rotation of the wheels.
