Product Description

Methods and precautions for installing the cylinder head gasket:
(1) When installing a cylinder head gasket with flanges, if the material of the cylinder block and cylinder head are the same, the flanged side faces the cylinder head. If the cylinder block is made of cast iron and the cylinder head is made of aluminum alloy, the flanged side faces the cylinder block, and the cylinder block has high strength and is not easy to wear and damage.

(2) If the cylinder head gasket is marked with letters, place the marked or letter towards the cylinder head.

(3) When press-fitting the cylinder head, in order to avoid serious consequences caused by uneven deformation of the cylinder head and the cylinder head gasket, the cylinder head bolts should be tightened in 2 to 3 times from the middle to the two sides.
